New Horse - New Jumping Technique!!!

Hi, After years of eventing on one horse. I have bought a younger horse to try and get a bit further in eventing. The only problem is that she takes off and jumps the jump from way to far away and she also jumps over the jump and some air between .... would you put this down to her inexperience, did anyone else have this problem???

It is inexperience but you do need to stop her taking off so far away. Use poles, related distances and grids to help her reach the optimum take off spot. She will soon learn but in order to develop her jump you do need to get her onto a good take off spot.
