New horse...new yard, worming thoughts please!

Hi all, i am soon to move to a new yard, where my current horse, and a new horse will join me. At present, my current horse is on the Equest/Equest Pramox program, and had his Pramox wormer yesterday. I want to have both horses on this program as it is very easy, so plan to worm new horse with Pramox when he gets to the new yard. However, what do i do with current horse?? I know he is up to date with worming, but do i still need to worm him when he gets to the new yard (in about 3-4 weeks time) or will this 'overdose' him. There are no yard rules on worming as such, as it is a small DIY, but dont want to be thought of as irrisponsible by other owners!!

Have you spoken to YO??

Maybe you can suggest that you introduce a programme for everyone at the same time??

If his worming is up to date and YO doesn't insist then I'd slot him into your own programme - seems silly to overload the horse with chemicals for no reason - good luck

Pramox is active for 13 weeks so you should not give horse another one yet.....
