Hi posted on friday about my daughters loss of confidence in her 5yo TB - thanks for all your advice, made my daughter feel a lot better about her decision.

She actualy took the new horse to dressage today and we were pleasantly surprised how well she behaved, she only got 40.5%, however she behaved well, it was our rock steady old mare who was a pain in the butt. She hasnt been out to a show with company for ages and turned herself inside out at having to leave her friends side. I left the arena doing a 20m circle twice and free walk on a long rein was cantered - my lowest dressage score to date and last in the class - at least it kept our minds of the youngster.

We are definately going to say good bye to the TB, we are just going to wait till the injury on her leg is completely healed up and will work in the safety of the field and school until then.

So pleased to hear this...I read your post & replied and know how it feels for a horse to mess around with your confidence...really pleased your daughter had a good day ;0)
