fellow HHOer Charmer has very very kindly let me have her lovely boy James to event alongside my mare this season, as she's on crutches with a very poorly ankle, 6 months of no riding, and really wants him to do some stuff this year. He arrived yesterday, he's a really lovely boy, a bit stressy at the moment but hopefully my lovely quiet yard and tons of tlc will do their magic on him. He did 4 Intros last year, the last 3 double clear, so fingers crossed i can build on that.
So, will have lots more reports to post very soon hopefully. he's an ex-racer, dark grey, very smart looking and very bright, i think.
so, wish us luck... please! i am just so excited to have 2 to event now. might need to beg a bit of help here and there at events because boyf isn't horsey at all, and helping with 2 might be a bit much!

not sure yet, doing his regs this week, and going to spend a week or two getting to know him before deciding. mare is having new saddles fitted tomorrow so unless i'm brave enough to go xc in a gp, not for a while!
 
hehee!! im sure you'd be fine in a gp XC, i spent several years in a straight cut working hunter pony saddle until my knees got so grazed from clinging on that i had to get a jumping saddle!
