He loves the vacuum cleaner  OH is currently vacuuming the house with the kitten chasing after him, desperate for OH to put the nozzle on his fur. He likes sticking his face and paws into the tube of the hoover when it is on and loves it if you suction his sides with it. All my other cats run away or ignore the hoover so this is a first!

I've never had a cat who's even mildly tolerated the vacuum cleaner ! Current puss hides as soon as it appears. I did once have a Siamese X who would allow me to vacuum her fur but I still had to hold her when I was doing it.

Yes, most of my current and previous cats have run away as soon as I got the hoover out and the new boy ran off the first time but then curiosity overcame him and he had to come and see what I was doing. Since then he seems to have a fascination with the thing and wants to have his fur sucked up in it. He's quite a little character :) I should try to take a pic really.

I would love a cat that actually has character and charisma like that - you so need to get a video of him onto you tube ;-) He sounds a scream :-D

Our gsd used to like a hoover, it cut out the middle man, he would pester until I would hoover him, the bitch would try and eat the hoover, I also tried hoovering my mare, got her used to the hose, then the brush, went to switch the hoover on and blew the lights in the stables

My silver alien cat is a real nuisance with the Hoover. He chases it around and throws himself on the floor in front of it, you can almost hear him saying 'do me! Do me!' He is a very very odd cat!
