New KY Rotary bits

I've got one!!

I really like mine.

The left and right hand side are totally independent from each other, as they attach to the ball in the middle.

Milly is a bugger for grabbing the bit on the right hand side.

The KY gives me the ability to still maintain the contact on the left and I can move my right hand side very slightly and she is unable to grab hold of it.

I've still got lots of work to do on both her and me, but she is getting better and better.

I've got one, tried it on my mare & she didn't like it - that said, she also hates the Mylers for the same reason - independant action. A frind has the same bot for her horse & he loves it!

Re the tacking up - it's not tricky at all as the reins & cheek pieces keep everything aligned properly, if you see what I mean.

Dressage legal - they are NOT dressage legal as of yet (new bits take flipping ages to get approved!), although if you were only doing unaffiliated I'd have to say that personally I'd take the risk - they look totally normal on the outside...

I was going to check their main website for them - re the dressage bit (as I'm sure I read on their about it too) but I can't find the flipping site now.

The Jefferies site doesn't give as much info on there.
