Got in his stable and rolled!! Yikes! He knowshow to scare the bejeezus out of us Vets all concur that he won't cope being cross-tied, so it's in the lap of the gods now.

It's good to see him home

Lets hope his survival instinct kicks in and he looks after himself so he mends and is all working again soon.

Patches (glad 'pooter fixed ), New Lad (ex-racer) was just coming into work after coming off the track with a bowed tendon. Went up on the Pessoa. Slipped. Down n hit low wall at edge of school. At top of off-fore: severed artery; sliced muscle; four cracks in bone. This was last Saturday. Came home from vet's today. Very, very slowly! I've never been so worked up about a journey But he made it Now months of box rest. Hey ho.

Sounds terrible. Here's wishing him a full recovery and I will join in with sending masses of "calm and still" vibes to him for his box rest period.

Last night I was asleep dead to the world by half nine, then could not wake up at five-fifteen this morning. Shattered lol.

He's still standing and *fingers crossed* calmer. The vet doesn't mind that he is lying down as they have observed him getting up and he somehow manages to do it without using that leg. No idea how as I haven't seen it (not sure m'nerves could take it!). As we can't stop him lying down it's a good job lol.
