Polishing my long boots earlier I came to the decision I really need a new pair as mine are really quite battered now, a main part of the problem is that the leather lining is broken up especially around the ankle area so the boots are very saggy, creased, and floppy in the lower leg now.

It got me to wondering, is it even possible to have a leather lining replaced?
If it is and you've had yours done, what sort of price did you pay?

I'm imagining the cost probably wouldn't be worth it looking at the 'used and abused' condition of the boots overall, and that a new pair of dress boots would be the way forward, but I'm curious to know.

Sounds like it could be quite pricy, but not impossible. Contact someone like Snobs of Amersham who should be able to give you a quote
