'Daisy Do Daisy Don't' as I've taken to calling her has well and truly settled in to her new home. Changed her rugs over this morning and was greeted with kisses all over my face and her snuggling her head over my shoulder for a cuddle. This is the 'Daisy Do' side!

Led her out behind Big Mama and as the old matriarch isn't too keen on the pocket rocket I was trying to hang back (difficult as Mama walks like a tortoise and Daisy moves more like a hare). Trainer had told me that as sweet natured as she could be, she also has a temper although until this morning I had yet to witness said temper. So there I am walking circles and keeping some pressure on the headcollar, and her head starts shaking and the legs start dancing around. This is 'Daisy Don't!

By the time we got into the field she was positively electric, standing politely enough to be let loose but almost exploding with excitement. I let her go and I swear I have never seen a horse move so fast in all my life! Mama stood and watched her with me as she galloped flat out in a circle, jumping puddles and bucking nine times before finally stopping, snorting, and trotting off to eat (at which point Mama thought she'd amble over and join her).

If only I'd had time to video it between all the laughing! I'll know for next time!

Monkey is the right word! There's pics on my profile (in the album called Daisy!). Posted on my phone so couldn't upload anything at the time.

OH took her out and about for a walk this morning which she enjoyed, just around the yard with the halter on. Am hoping to get some pics of her when I turn her out tomorrow morning (if it's not too wet and horrible), she's hilarious. I can see Big Mama thinking 'what a waste of energy!' as she stands and watches!
