But not so excited about trying to find a saddle to fit!!!
He is a 5yo 14.1 Connemara (Did originally say I would only have a mare, but would appear Ive been converted). He came from 2 girls who back and school horses mainly for showing.
Was lovely to see them all being backed slowly and at the correct pace. Stunning Welsh Section D stallion enjoying his bit with the keys on playing around in his stable, could have took the entire yard home. Was even tempted to take the deaf Jack Russell home, who is tied to another dog who nannies him away from any trouble!!!
Anyway, here's a pic of him on one of his endless laps around the field for his vetting which he passed! Vet couldn't believe how fit he was considering he was a bit porky and only been back in work for a few days, very excited to get on and riding as soon as I can find a saddle.
