I'm breaking them in, but they are quite stiff around the ankles and I can't carry my heel as low as I do in gaiters and boots. My leg does feel as though it's a bit drawn up in these boots - and no coincidence that I've started to get a bit of a lower back ache. I'm almost having to work harder at keeping my leg as long as normally it is. Any thoughts?
