i am such a fuss pot and perfectionist and having been fed up with off the peg bridles not fitting my boy I found someone to make one to measure with 2 noseband options. I was so excited when it arrived, I was greeted by the lovely smell of leather first of all and my smile got wider and wider as i examined each peice
Im not sure what i love most, the gorgeous laced reins, the stitched drop or the black and white cavesson/browband... and the cutback padded all-in-one headpeice fits perfectly! I am over the moon with it, I really am. Whats more, today was the first chance I have had to actually ride my horse in a drop noseband, I had had a gut feeling from his way of going that a drop would suit him and I was right. Not only were the brakes supreme, but I had that fab feeling when galloping up a stubble field of 'between hands and seat' and he came back sweetly. I also found I could get him working in an outline so much more easily. Haha, my plan had been to use the white set for XC with a kimblewick but if the brakes are better with the drop we may be using that with a snaffle:
. Boo, and the black & white will look so cool.
gorgeous gorgeous reins! ive never had laced before, LOVE them
black & white set.. the cavesson looks a bit high here but being stiff it kept pinging up at the front for some reason
