I've taken the plunge and put down a deposit on a new puppy

I lost my Scottish Terrier a couple of years ago and always wanted another but it was such a hard thing to lose him it's taken me this long to feel in the right place to have another. Anyway I don't know which of the three boys in the litter will be mine as they're only two weeks old and haven't even opened their eyes yet but he'll be one of these three:

He'll be ready at the end of Feb - I can't wait!

Awwwwwwww so cute!!! They're all lovely, good idea to wait until you see what personalities they have. Have you got any name ideas??

I've got a few ideas for names... I like Bodie, Archie and Boss... but until I actually know which one is going to be mine I won't decide on the name

my friend has just had a litter of scotties and i was visiting her when they were born ,they're gorgeous dogs.

if i didn't love collies so much i may have been tempted, don't know what the sheep would make of them at sheepdog training though LOL...

I love the name Archie!

Update time.

Went to see the puppy for the first time today. He's now 5 weeks old and will be coming home in 3 weeks time. His Kennel Club registered name is Archimedes... so given Archie was one of the names I was thinking of anyway what else could I call him?

So here is Archie...

Oh, so sweet. I hope you'll have many happy years with him. I've never seen a baby one before, in fact, I've only ever met one of them before. They don't seem to be a very commonplace breed. Archie is a good name, had you told the breeders about your tentative choice of names? My GSD pup is called Boss ,well, Boston.....strange name I know, but it just kept coming up when we were thinking of names.

I look forwards to seeing more photos once you have him home.
