New ride for Michael Whitaker ???

Just been looking through the start lists for Hickstead today (can you tell i'd rather NOT be at work!?)...

Notice that Michael is entered in the Derby Tankard riding one Pilgrim II....the former ride of David McPherson that was sold abroad a year or two ago. He'd be 15 now....but i don't think he's done much since he left David.

Anyone know anything about it ?

You beat me to it with that post. You're right - Pilgrim was with a Norwegian rider, not one of the top squad, and towards the end of last year was ridden by the Dutchman Henk van der Pol. Could be a super addition to Michael's string. Glad to see that Amai is also back in action after his minor problem in St Gallen.

Good to see that the international classes and the national classes being held in the main arena are now on SCG so they'll be available much more quickly than they used to be. Other national class results are on Hickstead's own site.
