Hey everyone,

This is a horse i've been offered to ride called Fox :) He's a bay 17hh TB (Which is the biggest horse i've ever ridden!). He's 9 but hasent done anything so is very green jumping. He hadnt been out in public either but i've ridden him 4 times and 2 of those have been PC rallys which he coped with very well :)

So this is him - (Sorry video stills so not good quality!)

So im planning on taking him to pony club camp in a few weeks time at Pontispool (Taunton) :) I was just wondering what are everyone's opionions of him? :)

He's lovely!!

He is rather huge though - can tell you're still getting used to him - but once you've gotten to know each other and you've adapted to a larger horse you'll have lots of fun.

Haha yes as both my horses are 15.1hh/15hh so slight differnence! :)

:) I went from a 14.2hh to a 16.3hh and it took some adjusting.

I only noticed because I also watched the vid in your signature and noticed that your seat was much less secure on Fox than it is on your usual horses. To me, your lower leg is too far forwards on him which is making it harder for you to rise and stay "with" his movement and you're more dependant on the reins than you are when you're riding the other horse and your leg is more underneath you and you're balanced.

Fox is gorgeous though! Good luck with him!

lovely horse, just remember to keep your legs on as they are out in front of you at the moment, but hes a fab looking horse. good luck with him!
