Hi my two young daughters are going to saddle up and begin riding, or at least try to. I thought it would be a good idea to get some insight. everyone seems very helpful and polite.
Well, I am new to ponies and horses, but my wife rode for many years in her youth. We now also live in an area surrounded by horses. Of course we will be "trying it out" before committing to anything
My girls are 4 and 5, so just about big enough - Also get's the family doing something together.
I see how you all band together to scare the new person off I am afraid - very afraid (of what's coming of course )
Well let's give it a go and see how they get on. I much prefer to pay money and have the girls out and about, rather than sitting indoors glued to the screen.
I go out hunting, shooting that is (rabbiting, ratting and pigeons) to keep myself busy. I do it on a farm I used to live on. This keeps me out of trouble and the farmer happy I manage to keep the numbers down.
Some people in Kent might know the farm as there is a hunt that goes from there - Becketts Farm.
The wife and kids were saying they felt a little left out, so trying to get them involved in the outdoors.
