Hello everyone,
I'm new here!
Completed a Learn to ride course at Lee Valley in London recently, where we learnt up to sitting and rising trot.

Tomorrow we are going for a Hack with Gillians Riding School in Enfield.

We will also be starting a new riders course and following that with an intermediate course too.

I never had a huge interest in horses before, but since the opportunity arose for me to do the course, I have really fallen in love with them!

Riding the different horses at the centre really gives you a feel for their personalities, and the way each horse feels different and rides differently.

It's been so much fun and I can't wait to be a good enough rider to progress to horseback archery one day as that's my end goal!

Look forward to being a part of this community!

Thanks everyone! We had a nice ride out through the woods in the drizzle. I got to ride moustache Travis!

I look forward to getting lots of advice from you all!

Will start a separate thread about stirrup length....
