Oww I'm so tempted by some of the stuff, mainly because it is so rediculously cheap. Might treat my horses and myself for christmas. Am tempted by the bridle on page 28 as it looks like a much cheaper version of the elevator which I have always wanted but considered too expensive, but it's hard to tell from a photo how good it will be. Anyone know how padded Robinson's idea of a padded headpiece is?
Just got mine. I'm intrigued - do you think those cheap synthetic sherwood forest long boots would be waterproof enough to be able to walk through a waterlogged field, and be hosed down?
Don't know misinterpreted, they might manage it a few times, certainly wouldn't want to do that in expensive leather boots though! I actually bought some sherwood forest short boots in the last Robinsons sale and they're fairly well made, though not very generously sized in the foot arch (bizarrely, never had that problem with any other boot), mine took a fair bit of wearing to get them to stretch.
and the more or less an elevator bridle, which would be very silly without a horse to put it on
As for the boots,I find anything with a zip leaks
but the solid ones are FAB.
When I first met OH,he looked at them and asked why I had such silly looking wellies.
After I explained they were riding boots and that they were not all leather,he started to call them riding wellies, which has stuck
Had a pair of Stylo Start for over 4 years hard use and they were the best boots I ever owned.Fitted great and diddnt have to mess about looking after them like leather!
circled all the things i would like for christmas...pink lunge rope...pink lunge cavison and the pink and black turnout rug...mums says im no alowed it though since horseys a boy!
