New leather takes longer the 'break in' then synthetic and some flocking types take longer than others. Foam and air filled saddles however take no 'bedding down'.
A normal new leather saddle will take 20hrs+ of riding to bed down as the flocking compacts and should be rechecked for fit after that. The saddle will drop down, esp at the front.
Its a kent and masters leather saddle, I'm not sure what its flocked with but dropping slightly at the front is exactly what I'm after! Its had 3 hours use so far so bit of a way to go if it does need 20 or so hours
