new school expectations!

the new arena is finally finished at the yard and i cannot wait to get in there, its 30x60 so plenty of room for poncing!

but i think my expectation that we will be working at elementary by the end of the week is some what far fetched! in actual fact i will probably be lucky to get one circuit of trot in between the dragon noises and leaping around we'll probably have for the first week or so!

I was so excited when my new arena was built earlier this year and was counting down the days until it was finished. I was gutted on the day it was completed when the contractor turned round and said not to use it until it had 4" of rain to help the sand settle and compact!!!! I was so p****d off that no one had mentioned this to me before. Last year it rained non stop and as soon as my arena needed rain....not a drop. Anyway it was worth the wait as it definitely needed the water to compact it.

Have fun and I really hope you don't have to wait to use it.
