In H&H magazine today, can't find a link to the report online.
It talks about the introduction of a single passport issuing organisation and national equine database by the end of the year, in light of the horsemeat scandal. Passports will only need to hold microchip numbers, silhouttes and ownership details.
Obviously many PIOs are not happy with the decision and there are concerns over costs involved etc.
I think its a step in the right direction but they've got a lot of work to do!
Thoughts?
