I haven't checked out her credentials if I'm honest, she seems to think she knows what she is on about but some of the comments are a bit strange... Like "you didn't even knock it over" well no, I mean the whole point is to avoid knocking them over?! My mare is careful so I'm not sure why it was even mentioned. On the plus side she is very encouraging, but not much in the way of constructive criticism.

Here is the vid of the lesson, you will need sound obviously, to hear her comments, I'd like some opinions on whether to stick with her or find someone well, different :-/. Oh and the comments at 2:00 onwards are just horrifying.

I knew there was something fishy up. If you had a lesson with someone and you weren't convinced I know you wouldn't need us to advise you!

Absolutely loved this. I force my husband to watch all of the Titchy videos over and over because it's our dream to have a pair just like those two special beasties. Love this. What a wonderful life you have x

Well she's better than my mum with a camera! How it's possible for a child to be so cute I don't know but I'd love a lesson from her :P
 
I was thinking how amazing she was with the camera. Really smooth and no shots of the ground but I love that she then gets distracted thinking of her and titchy and she forgets she filming. I think it's so sweet how she gives you encouragement, so many kids are little brats.
I'm pregnant and I'm convinced it was your videos that gave me the final push. She is just so cute

I was at FRC derby day on sunday with my pony, we must be nearby to each other as i have seen your videos at inchcoonans etc! I keep mine up near murroes :)
 
That's the cutest video ever! My son is nearly 4 and he would have put it on the floor and wandered off the dig holes in the school after 15 seconds lol!

He also thinks every time I go to a show and don't fall off I've won :D lol

This!! (Apart from the pregnant part, but if I wasn't past it....!) she is simply adorable. :D
 
When I first read your post I was thinking what a shame to have a lesson and I have a rubbish instructor, and I was all set to criticise this lady , then I watched the video! I think she's a definite keeper! She's got a lovely clear voice and is encouraging over the fences, I wish I had one! ;)

Yes not far. I didn't go to the derby day, first time I've used the facilities (they are why I joined) and they are just super.

She is pretty good at sticking with things. She was moaning after a while of videoing but I pointed out she likes watching videos of herself on Titchy and I never complain about videoing her, she agreed and kept going!

Yes her voice is very clear and loud!! We knocked a fence at our last competition and she was heard loudly lecturing me that "if you knock them down you can't jump them that big Mummy!!!"

I loved her very encouraging and upbeat style!

I was wondering if your instructor had hit the hip flask after a couple of minutes, and the 'faster Titchy faster' just finished me - adorable!
 
I now know the whole script off by heart and I have been perfecting my accent. I have spent most of today going about my jobs and occasionally calling out 'Sloooooooooow Dooouuuwwwwwnnn' and 'Fasterrr Tetchy Fasterrr' and then giggling to myself. We need more!
