true i suppose.

although i couldnt live without my rubber edge flexi ones (not the original sprengers, the cheap £25 version!) they save my ankles and knees from a world of pain

used them for so long now i forgot how much i need them til i rode in normal stirrups, ouch!

i don,t actually like the new ones, they tend to hang in a strange way IMO. I have the original springer and i LOVE them!! i hate riding without them!!

Bought a pair to help me after I broke my leg in the summer. Definitely less pressure on the ankle joint than my usual bent leg irons. I wouldn't go back to other irons now.
