I'm on the look for a new hat, however I'm struggling to find something I like and which is the new standard.

I'm seeing a lot of hats stating they confirm to the PAS015 but then don't state they are kitemarked to the 2011 standard.

Can anyone offer suggestions, I'm looking for a modern, slim line look hat that isn't black and that's up standard and under £150 if at all possible. It's only going to be used for flat lessons and hacking, but I don't want to wreck my competition hat. I know I could a non standard one but the standards have been withdrawn for a reason and I want to be as safe as possible.

Thank you

It's only certified to the BSEN 1384 so it's the old standard that been withdrawn and the mark 2 isn't out as yet. It's a lovely looking hat though

I'm not sure there are that many that meet your requirements. (For which no criticism - quite right to be as safe as possible!!) But so far as I know most if not all of these types of hats don't meet the higher standard. Are you looking for a fixed peak specifically? There are some vented skull caps which comply.

I meant to put the Gatehouse Chelsea!!! I have a Chelsea which has PAS015. I wanted the Conquest last year and held off!!!

Cannot get the names the right way round!!!

My lovely mum has just bought me the Charles Owen Ayr8 in navy as a present - Gatehouse ones didn't fit my huge and oddly shaped head :D
It's properly kitemarked, got tagged by BE no questions asked last weekend.
