New Stirrups.. Yay :-)

Following advice on a recent thread I ordered a pair of Sprengers flexi stirrups.
I tried them today for the first time and am absolutely amazed how great they felt. My ankles have never felt so relaxed and I might be imagining it but I think my leg position also felt really stable. What a difference

Yay I'm going to treat myself to a pair of these stirrups... my right ankle absolutely kills after a long ride, hopefully these will help!

Dumbo. I got them because my right knee was getting sore on longer hacks and my ankles used to get stiff. I'm amazed how good they felt. I'd dithered about it for ages because of the cost but am now really grateful I took the plunge and forked out for them.

I have the bow balance and I love the wider foot tread, lose my stirrups about half as often I reckon!

I have the thorowgood flexi stirrups and I'll never go back to normal ones. I used to suffer from knee pain after riding, not any more! They really are brilliant.

Don't think I'll be using any other type of stirrups again either I hated the safety ones I was using. Seemed very flimsy and when I picked them up by the rubber band last week it actually just slipped off.. Can't be good.

I can actually walk after dismounting now I use flexi stirrups. Definite recommend them.
