New to competition

Hi there I'm.going to be competing with my bay standardbred: I'm going to go with a greeny twead jacket. I.have black boots and a black hat. Beige jodhpurs, brown gloves. I'm thinking of wearing a stock shirt, do I need a.stock tie too? Do the above atire and colours sound ok? I'll put a white saddle cloth. My tack is brown

Depends on what you are doing. You would usually wear a stock with a stock shirt - but some stock shirts come with a sort of pre done "neck" bit you can get away with. Make sure your hat is OK but whatever organization's rules you will ride under.
