New to hunting in the NW. Help!

I'm new to hunting but would love to get involved. I live in Norden near Ramsbottom, Lancs. Which hunts would be best in my area? Ooh and as cheap as poss please- i'm a student!

Also is there usually a non-jumping option; my mum would be v keen to come along but isn't the most confident jumping..
