New to hunting - UK

Hi can anyone assist, basically I have just relocated to London, work in the city and live in south London, and I am looking to get back involved with the hunting scene during the winter months.

I have hunted for about ten years in Ireland, small bit in Oz and have competed in eventing.

Does anyone know were my closest hunt would be? I was thinking the Essex hunt? I would preferably like to hunt on Saturdays with a hunt that allows visitors.

Additionally I will need to lease a scopey, brave horse on a weekly basis from a stable and get them to bring it to and from on hunt days, could anyone please advise?

Maesfen, looking at the Pack Directory, it seems as though there are 182 registered packs of hounds. So much for 'the bulk of those who live rural lives are opposed to hunting'!!

To be honest Alec, I think most people who have any experience of the countryside and who aren't blinded by our own self-importance already know that that statement is quite false. Most people in the countryside are either supportive of hunting or really couldn't give less of a damn, but I'm sure you already know that.
