I have never been on a hunt before and so feel that I cant comment on something if I have never experianced it. Therefore when I get my loan horse in a couple of weeks (fingers crossed) I would like to try it.

How do I go about finding my local hunt, what do I do when Im there (please dont say ride ) etc etc etc

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thankyou

You will have to find out your local pack & ring there seceratry to find out about them. Most hunts are holding new comers days where you get looked after & have everything explained to you. What to do, what to expect ect. The MFHA website has all the packs listed with contact details so that would be a good place to start. Most of all enjoy yourself and have fun.

Ask you farrier, saddler or tack shop. They will certainly know and may be able to give you a contact point, I'm sure you will be welcomed wherever you go. Make sure you feel 100% with your new horse beforehand tho', so can go on the 'happy pills' when they start!
