hi I'm new to the site after making a very recent purchase of a 5 year old cob. He's been used as a school pony with good manners so hopefully he will be the ideal starter for me and my daughter. I'm soooooo excited but nervous at the same time as I'm learning everything at a quick pace. We have a lovely DIY livery yard to move to but for now he's staying at yard we bought him from, so we can get to know him in his environment, have lessons etc. We got him from a reputable stables and so far they have been extremely helpful which has made it so much easier. Couldn't recommend them enough. So only time will tell, new owners and environment for him........will he behave the same?.... I am a complete novice but been told he looks after you and doesn't take advantage. So you will probably see many more posts on here from me for advice!!!! Happy days
