Hello, I am new to the forum and so just wanted to jump on and say Hi! I have just had planning accepted for a menage (hoorah!) and am trying to get my head around surfaces. After looking around I am going to plump for sand and rubber as seems most low maintenance and frost resistant. My dilemma is over sand as prices seem to vary so much! Any one able to give guidance on sand? I'm know I need silica sand with angular particles and it must be washed but what is the difference between Redhill Fines and Equisilica sand or is it just the same thing? Quite a big variance in cost and ability to supply. Appreciate any thoughts, we are in Eversley, Hampshire.

I have sand and PVC and very happy with it and have it in the indoor and the outdoor.
