Hello everyone!
I’m new to the forum but a long time lurker. Previously (and by that I mean MANY years ago), I was a regular on another equine forum called Horse Chit Chat and enjoyed the community and conversations. That site has since been retired and I decided to put on my brave face and say hello on my favorite site to stalk LOL!
I am a Welsh mountain pony breeder in NW Wisconsin (USA) who occasionally will brave the show ring. I am one of those folks who are very intentional with my husbandry, breeding, and training. I mostly dabble with a healthy mix of R+ and horse forward methodologies. I’m rounding off my last leg of Veterinary School which has been an interesting journey to say the least.
Currently, I do not ride (retired eventer/HJ here) but I do enjoy driving. A lot. I am also in my “let’s make dreams happen” era of my farm. I’m focusing on converting some of my 30 acres of pasture into a track system. So, bear with me as I know I will need guidance from those more experienced.
Anywho, I look forward to meeting you all and creating lasting friendships along the way!
