Hi All, so due to my amazing negotiation skills I have managed to broker a deal with my sister and parents to get myself a nice shiny new Ifor 511!!! Woohoo! my question to you all is.......I have never had a trailer before. Are there any extras that you have that you couldn't live without......or ones that you wish you hadn't bothered with? thanks

Spare tyre. All fittings are easy to dismantle, in case of a problem with the horse. Extended head room for larger horse. These are what I wanted in my float.

I would have liked saddle- bridle rack in the float, and some lockable storage. Also possibly a place to store water for the horse so you can take water from home.

Other things a camera in the float ai you can see how horse travelling - this could be a distraction though while driving.

We bought a new 506 and if the 511 has the same front vent which it looks like you may find you get a lot of water coming in the front. They are looking for a solution and have said they will offer it to us when they deisgn something. We opted for the new to UK models seperate tack room, they might also do this on the 511. This is an area for two saddles and tack accessed from one side door, the other door was there to access the trailer. Very useful to keep kit seperate from horses, and lockable.

Spare wheel definately, and barn doors very useful but pay attention to the length of wire on the trailer light fitting ours was too short, still to be sorted.

The little ramp you can use to get one wheel off the ground is worth getting, if you do have a flat.
