welcome to HHO, (the mad house). Horsey sounds lovely.
We have a ginger shettie, and erm, what do I do with him? hmm, get generally abused by him, spend hours mucking out and arguing with my eldest over who gets the 'bad' jobs most, and walk for miles and miles so said eldest can hack out.
I've got a 16.3 hh Dutch warmblood called Oliver. I am still building up my confidence and so is he because he's young so we don't do much but we still manage to have fun.
I have a 14.2 tri-coloured Section D Cross. I have photoes of him but I'm a useless technophobe and don't have a clue how to add them to a sig or post them on here for people to see.
If anyone can offer any help with this...... *looks hopeful?*
I don't have a horse at the moment, but not through lack of trying. When I do finally get one I'm going to to do this with it:
Sit and stare at it in awe that after 12 years of saving I've finally got one.
Er..then I might ride it about a bit
Then I read on and saw you had an Anglo Arab!!! Explains it all!.
I have one, he is called Jerry Springer or more often My Grumpy Old Man!!!! He is well into his late 30's now and gets grumpier by the minute.
He is the same as yours re feeding and rugging up, infact he is grumpy about everything these days!!
He had a very enjoyable morning yesterday, running rings around a Vet Student!!!
I love him to bits and he is one of lifes charactures and I would never want to change him!
He doesn't do much these days (and I'm happy with that)
I have also got a new horse called Milly, she is a 17.2hh ID x TB. She has done Dressage before, so I am very slowly attempting to learn some of the things she knows! She is proving to be a very honest girl and already I love her very much!
