new weatherbeeta rugs?

Any opinions on the new rugs with the fleece neck cuff bit? Looking at one for my warmblood who lives out but has a blanket clip!

Cant be much help, just to say i bought one yesterday for my boy. His other one has got soaked today so he will wear it tomorrow for the first time! It looks a good idea and fits well so i will have to see.

My first thought when I saw them was what happens when it pours down? Surely the fleece bit is then soaked and resting on the horses neck all day. I can't imagine that being very pleasant.

Rio has been wearing one for the last couple of weeks and the fleece bit hasnt got wet dispite having torrential rain the only thing i will say is that the clip is tight - i thought it was going to strangle him and they do come up too big (rug) other than that they are nice rugs

I just put the fleece up if its cold and dry as otherwise it takes ages to dry. I tuck it under the other times. It does come up big bit it is a great rug .

i asked the very same on here the other day and a few folk said the fleece seems to be waterproof. I wasnt sure about the fleece in the neck either. Great looking rug tho
