New Website - Feedback pls....

I have set up a website for a friend of mine, it is not completely finished but was looking for some feedback.

This is the first website I have designed and put together myself, I am hoping that if it goes well I could make a career out of it/work at home and have lots of time to ride etc.

Hiya,

Had a look at the website and think you've done it really well. It was clear and easy to navigate (sometimes I find some business websites hard to follow instructions on how to contact the person!) but it displayed this very clearly with all the other information easy to take in and professionally done, i.e., you're not 'over selling' the services either, which sometimes may put clients off.

The only small, and hopefully constructive critisism (sp!) I would say is the first page I went onto when I clicked on the website link was the Home page and perhaps there could be more of a heading for Welcome or something at the top of the page in bigger type and a photo or picture of something relevant to the site - it may be the Homepage is work in progress, as you mentioned. Also just noticed one or two typos on Home page - I think 'recomend' may have two 'm's' and monday to friday should have capital letters (this may have been intended tho!). Hopefully just make sure there are no other typos with final run through. All the other pages were nicely displayed with photos/logos of interest and relevant information easy to read and obtain etc.

Thought it was very good - so well done! On this basis I'm sure you should be able to set up work in website production.

I intend to produce a banner of images to go on the home page but with the terrible weather the photos look awful!
