After my adorable

lab pub has chewed a pair of eskadron xc boots - (well just one of them!) I need some new ones. I have always been happy with those but have had them a while and wondered if there is anything "better".

I read the threads from a week or so ago now but there were no real conclusions. I am kinda split between what i had (eskadron), N.E.W and iv heard a lot of good about Dalmars.

I just want something with good all round protectin easy to fit etc etc .

The N.E.W come in S,M,L and wondered what people use on their horses. Digby is 16.2 with ISH type legs they are not spindly but not thick either- can get a pic if need be.

I need to make a quick decision as ideally want them before Burnham this weekend- any reccomendations from who is speedy would be good as well

NEW will be best in Medium, thats what G has. However, I am not impressed with mine, and would get and will get the Trizone vented XC boots next time. Better than the Dalmers too after having a decent discussion with one of the Trizone people at the weekend.....expensive but worth it IMHO

Hey Fran, after much deliberation, I got the dalmars, v.imprssed with them, but its personal choice. Things I like are the kevlar strike pads front AND back of the boot, quick and easy to put on, secure, and have airflow properties, but each to their own.

How is digby?

right that rules N.E.W out then

hehe

I am going to order what i had they are relativly cheap and i know they don't get heavy/slip etc.

Thanks

i have Liehgtweight news that were bought for my old pony, i now only hack in these as i dont think they offer enough protection for XC
i have prolites in front which are fab and i trust them to do the job, i then have premier equines behind which are fab, done a season with them and they have held up well, and offer good protection. i dont think protection is compromised due to the lower price tag. have both the extreme and air cooled and both are good. my 16.2 has large and they fit him fine
