So have moved to a new stables, as we moved house and old yard too far away though really miss it!
We arrived on sunday and she went out to play with new mates and apart ffrom afew bites and squeals settled quickly, but they come in at night at new place and in her wee bit with her stable she has a pony for company but i dont think she can see it. So she was very very upset at change to summer routine, box walking (she does this when stressed) and sweating like mad, presume she settled eventually cause dinner was ate and haynet in the morning. But yeaterday i rode in the morining and turned her out, all well then later on when the girls brought her in she went beserk apparently, they had to turn her back out t.il they were shutting yard. I felt terrible, I dont want her upset and I dont want to hassle the grooms either! So was thinking of a stable mirror? any thoughts?
SHe cant stay out overnight as there is just not enough grazing, we stay in city so all yards limited turnout near us. A new pony arrived today and it is bigger so i think she can see it easier so fingers crossed she has a better night tonight. so stressed for my pony, feel terrible
So does anyone have a similar experience, most people have said to me that as long as she gets a routine she should settle but i dont want her to injure herself in the interim.
