He is beautiful , well behaved and well trained
We have a little experience and have lots of other experienced family members on hand ready to help but i also wanted to join a forum and would be greatful for any tips or training methods.
we want to give him the best start in life, for the next few years untill he is ready to break so want him to have good manners and most of all enjoy his training. He is being gelded in april.
Look forward to reading all your advice and tips.

Hello there fizzyfanta,

I'm sure you'll get lots of help on here, but pics are a must please of your new purchase!

he is adorable! i would say the main thing at his age is just loads of handling
make sure he is used to being lead, having his feet picked up, going in a trailer, and get him used to traffic, if you take him near to roads (but still a safe distance) so he sees lots of traffic and stuff, also pole work and seeing 'scary things' like road bollards and bins and plastic bags, tbh the more he does the better he will be and the easier to break. i hope you have loads of fun! :D

Thanks for the kind comments, he is a Cutie...
We have had him 2 weeks and he is already coming up to us allowing us to scratch his chin and be groomed lightly also we have caught in field and he doesnt mind being put on the lead rope.
He did already know to pick his feet up, and has been in a trailer several times.
We plan on taking things very slow but hope to take him for walks early spring.:)
