Hi everyone, I've been lurking for a while but thought it was time I introduced myself as I'm also after your thoughts on the Symphony Breeches:)

I live in South Wales & with my Sister own 6 horses. Some oldies that we've had since a child and a couple of youngsters that will hopefully fill their hooves!!.
I've mostly competed Affiliated BS since a teen but have switched to Workers & Showing in the last few years.....mainly because I have become a chicken in my old age (30):D

I would like to pick your brains on your thoughts on these breeches as I'm thinking about ordering a pair. Alternatively If you could recommend some flattering breeches for a stumpy 5 footer that would be awesome!

Look forward to your replys....

The tredstep symphony look AMAZING

I went to get them last weekend but the saddlery didnt have the colour I want so hopefully I will be purchasing them this Saturday!

I bought a pair of the Tredstep Symphony Argenta breeches in white at Badminton - and then went back to the stand and bought another pair in grey! They are really comfortable and the stain resistance does seem to work - I got a bit grubby the first time I competed in the white pair and they've come up like new. I did try the Rosa but they are cut lower which doesn't really suit my shape. I'm virtually living in the grey pair and may have to get a spare for when they are in the wash! I just wish they did the Argenta in the blue.

How does the sizing come up on these? I'm looking for some new comp breeches either white or a light beige and quite like the look of these in the tan.

I now own a pair of the Tredsteps :) Love love love them! Went in to buy some cheap competition jods, and couldn't resist these. £110 means I wont eat for a week, but I will look good... I got them from a small shop in Sussex, Dragonfly Saddlery. What other colours do they come in? Grey? Not sure I can afford an everyday pair too :(

Re sizing, I would say they are pretty much true to size. I'm a 28 normally (except Pikeur when I'm a 26) and the 28 is spot on for me. I do wear a belt with them but that's quite normal for me as most trousers/jeans etc gape a bit at the waist (I prefer to say that my waist is small compared to my hips rather than I have too much padding round the hip area :) )
