Newbie to dog showing - help please!

Taking B to a dog show in a weeks time. He's a greyhound so im guessing can go into the hound class?
Will he be ok in his normal collar & lead (wide leather typical greyhound collar!)?
Any other tips etc much appreciated

If you have not already enterered it will be companion show so he will go in sporting unless it id a hound & terrier show where he will be a hound of whatever height they list.
A standard greyhound collar is fine.
