He fell at the last when he was starting to challenge, he appeared to jump fine but then crumbled on landing.

I got quite excited as I did the itv7 and got 4 winners and 1 placed. The other 2 were 4th and I think 7th. That’s the best I’ve done , only entered about 4 times before and the most I got was 2 winners so after today I’ve got the bug now ..Oh for goodness sake, I should have put some bets on. Just picked the 1st 2 winners of ITV racing

Late to the discussion as do not do Internet on phone. Am a member so was there at 9.30 for a members event hosted by ex jockey David Crosse, Barry Geraghty and a William Hill pundit who discussed the card race by race, horse by horse, very very interesting and some inside info that turned out to be spot on.
The cold was bone chilling despite lots of thermals but my fluff lined sale boots ensured my feet were warm.
Some excellent racing despite increasing fog/mist/drizzle the last race a Graded bumper was run in what the course commentator called deep gloom!!
It was a lot quieter than the Challow meeting which was utterly rammed with people when the course ran out of racecards!!

It was funny I thought it was going to be absolutely rammed because I ended up parked in a bit I’ve never parked in before and when I got out the car heard the cheering for the finish of the first race and being some distance from the grandstand it sounded packed, but once got in to the main course it wasn’t too bad at all was it?

I’m off to Exeter today. The sun is shining here but Haldon has its own microclimate so who knows what it will be like there.

I think a lot of people stayed in the bars and watched the races on the TVs certainly a lot in the members area in Berkshire stand did not shift and the bar on the 1st floor was busy but it always seems busy in there. I watched the bumper from indoors but was out in the stands for all the others I thought the atmosphere was great!

Exeter wasn’t at all busy, nicely so. The inside of the course was a students race day thing though. I’d take a random stab in the dark that there may be vomit.
