For those of you that read my thread about my new mare (15.3 Irish sport horse X) I recently took her to the vets and has her scanned and turns out she is NOT in foal thank god and just has a really (really!) big stomach! Phew! I now have my work cut out trying to get her fit although I am going on my work experience on Sunday for two weeks and luckily I have my mother who is going to lunge and ride her for me!
It really is a god send that my mother is so interested in horses and has been all her life, otherwise I wouldn't be able to have the horses I have had! Thank The Lord for mothers like mine, is anyone here a supportive mother to their daughter when it comes to horses?
Anyway, I have ridden Summer a few times now and she has worked beautifully me, although a bit green when schooling, but hopefully she will turn out to be my new best friend.
Thanks for reading guys, I know a few of you wanted to know if she was in foal or not!
