Has anyone been to Newton or Aylesford XC courses? Which ones better? Just looking for something to do tommorow

It'll be my first time xc schooling. Toto can get excited and silly/strong so I'd really like to test out his new bit before our first xc rally.

I would think Newton's a far better bet than Ponton as at Ponton there's very little in the way of alternatives, plus it's a long trek round. Whereas Newton's all in one big area so you can chop and change rather than have to follow the route round and go over jumps on your way.

Aylesford has better-built fences but Newton has a lot of everything inc baby ditches. I personally take all my first timers to Newton but I guess that's just personal taste

There's also Field Farm at Wymeswold which has a lot of all weather take-offs and landings?

Ground will be concrete wherever you go.

Ponton is just south of Grantham off the A1. Nice course and usually open all year round when all else is closed.

Take your waterwings for Aylesford, the water complex is just short of a wave machine and it would fit in at Centre Parcs!

Thanks, have they got a website? Lol, I've only ever taken him in a tiny little water jump once before, it took more than half an hour to get him in, not sure how I'm going to get him in a complex that's 20 times bigger

Think I'll take a spare set of clothes
