When are they acceptable to wear? Lots wearing in in-hand classes at the weekend. I boiled in my full tweed jacket. Wasn’t sure if they were only appropriate for traditional cobs and Welsh or if can be worn with other types.

Thanks.

Tbh, I would only remove jacket if allowed to by the judge, but I guess that only applies to ridden classes.

I've seen lots of M &M in hand handlers in waistcoats

I wear jacket, leather gloves, moleskins, brogues with a studded sole and a hat. Very uncomfortable in hot weather but shows respect to the judge. Just pop them on before you go in the ring and get them off as soon as you come out. And stay hydrated!

Lots more people wear waistcoats these days, usually tweed but I am not a fan. Defos a No No for ridden classes anywho. I feel naked without my tweed on unless I have the Welsh D out then it's a red waistcoat.
