Theres is alot of none horsey depressing threads at min so heres mine.
Has anybody got big plans for their horse next year .
I am going to win loads of working hunter and clean up at all the local little shows in jumping ,handyhorse etc .
Might have a go at le trek never done it before though ,if anybody has done whats it like?
Anybody got bigger plans

My aims are to have a crack at unaffiliated novice dressage, get us out hacking more over longer distances, to somewhere we can actually canter, and get us to the point where we can happily tackle a 2' course. At the moment a six inch cross pole is scary :D

I would also like to do some Trec with my baby coloured. I did lots with my old girl and it's great fun, really friendly too :)

I would like to re-back my big girl, who hasn't worked for 3 or 4 years since I had a bad fall from her. Not sure if I will be brave enough though :/

And ASBO pony will be a 2 year old, so hoping to get him out to one or two in-hand classes.

Fundage, weather and fitness permitting, our first stressage is planned for early January, just after my birthday. My first ever dressage and my first competition for almost two thirds of my life! So that'll be the next six weeks trying to get her fit! After that, go out doing some SJ and working hunter to get some experience, working on her manners out hacking so we can gallop in the field without having an argument, then hopefully going for some unaffiliated eventing by the end of the summer.
The year after, if I've still got her (she's on loan) Im thinking of aiming for novice/elementary dressage and bigger eventing.
:-)

Bay spot will start his BE career, my instructors plan is 2 90s, 2 100s then Novice eeek!
Orange spot will be 4 so will do some younge horse classes etc. Also enjoy doing all the BRC team stuff but so far booked some BE events and one county show with ridden sport horse classes for OS and have only 4 days holiday left to fit it all in too!!! Work shifts 24/7 so relie on holidays to get out and about, need Santa to bring me some extra holiday.

Buy a trailer and get out on Ashdown Forest. Do some fun rides and get him out and about to desensitise him a bit. He can be a bit of a baby!

With my 5 year old I would like to do novice BD and get some points and do some Elems towards mid- end summer. I also want to do some showing classes with him.

With my 19year old tb I would love to do some BD Elems and get some points and maybe, depending on how she is going, have a bash at a medium.

My rising 4year old I will start off doing walk and trots and depending on how she is developing, I may do some prelims.

Very excited :D

My little gelding will be 3 and starting his showing career next season :) And hopefully my old boy will be back showing, he missed the whole of this season but is sound again now :)

Ride more, do some proper pole and grid work, and conquer my issues with jumping. Have a go at some interdressage and maybe look into trec. Every year something seems to get in the way of getting down to some proper work with him, so I'm determined to knuckle down and achieve something next year!

I'm going to try a have a whole season competing, I'm whispering so the horse can't hear plus touching lots of wood!!. The last few years have been very hard and emotional rollar coaster.

I am going to compete at unaffiliated showjumping at least once a month, have stupidly agreed to go hunting in the new year (yikes!) and with 3 of my friends I am taking my superstar boy to the beach! At least I hope I am I am also going back to work full time in January so hope I can fit everything in!

My plan for next year is to be happily hacking Nell out alone. I have always enjoyed a good solo hack and hope that miss Nell will do me proud in that sense just as Seren did...
I may do some local in hand stuff
Then the following year I may do a little more, I like the idea of le trec also

I'd like to get gem out:) not been out jumping in a year..

Hugo on the other hand is going in hand showing to the local shows and our county show :).. In hand yearling hunter classes here we come! :-)
