This was on the road when we were on our way to Adelaide on Friday.....

It just sat there while we drove past, then we turned around, went back and got a couple of shots of him/her....

Beautiful big Wedge Tailed Eagle.... gorgeous bird........ and those are the remains of what we can only assume is a Kangaroo that has been turned into Road Pizza ...... This ones wing span would have been a good 7 feet we reckon....

Ha ha! I never managed to get good shots of those, as they'd sit there when you drove past, but when you reversed slowly in the car to get a pic, they'd always fly off!!

managed to get a nice big lens though, and eventually got one sitting in a tree

lush.....I want my own hobby, but basically for selfish reasons, but that is stunning, the wedge tailed is a mighty bird with massive presence. Very jealous of you Wildlife over there.
