Has been PTS about 2 hours ago - nicely with no reaction. He didn't respond to the steroids this morning but was down in his box and really struggling. Vet was very good, went through all the physiology and said his liver was so hepatetic that if he gave him emergency treatment today we would only be back in the same situation tomorrow. Loanee is devastated although she could not have done more
Poor old lad, he was one of the nice ones and only 18.

Sorry Jilla for your loss, but glad he went peacefully, I have 2 recovering from liver issues and one with IBD so I know it's hard for you. You have done what's best for you and I know it was not a decision made lightly RIP Alfie. :(
