my horse was turned out on friday for the first time full time. She's been fine but today she was dripping with sweat from head to hoof. I brought her in and hosed her and sponged her off but am worried now. The field has no where to stand in shade - does anyone have any suggestions? Before this she was stabled and am wondering if she is just not used to the heat change she had a nose bleed as well

worried now.

Happy easter everyone by the way lol

the other thing is I brought her in for a little bit but she gets upset because the other horses are out but it was a bit cooler in the stable for a bit and she cooled down lots.

HI,
GO ON TO E-BAY, LOADS OF FIELD SHELTERS ON THERE FOR LESS THAN 1/2 PRICE GET A TOWABLE ONE (WILL COME IN HANDY- NO PLANNING PERMISSION NEEDED) DON'T GET A TIN ROOF ONE...HOT HOT HOT.....

My horse is the same if I turn her out for too long to begin with. Try giving her a half day in the field so she can get used to it then bring her in. Gradually start leaving her for longer. Gin had sweated up after a couple of hours in the field when she first went out, she fence walks and wants to come in. She has now got to the point where I can leave her out all day and shes happy. There are also lots of flies about which are irritating them.
