Nice end to a 4 year olds first 6 months of work!!

Well we went to Ardingly on sunday to the HT. Probably my boys most challenging course (he has done 2 before!) and he went round with 1 mistake (my fault) as we went down the hill he wouldnt lift his head up to look so mistook my signals as time to stop rather than pay attention and look ahead!! He has done well for someone who 6 months ago wouldnt even go forwards!
Apart from that he was clear! Nice way to end the years XC. Im so pleased with his progress allround, I really didnt like him to start with but he has now surpassed any worries I had.
He is now ready for a little holiday now and starting to work towards his first intro in the spring.
Winter SJ & dressage now, oh the joys of winter! Anyone else had a nice end of season who wants to share

Bruce did his first xc at the weekend and was quite naughty, stopping and I fell off! However I came sixth - which is good, seeing as he really does not get why the showjumps are so far apart!

Getting a lorry so very much looking forward to the winter season and flitting here there and everywhere!
